Murder mystery launch in Ramelton

The latest Paul Charlie novel, “St. Ernan’s Blues” is to be launched in Mc Daid’s Wine Bar in Ramelton this Friday night May 27th at 8pm. Charles who is a very familiar figure in Ramelton is believed to have based many of his fictitious characters locally amid much speculation about the ‘Inspecter Starrett Mystery”. This is the third book in the series and they’ve all provided a fascinating read.

Call to promote of Ramelton Heritage

The 34 Protected Structures in Ramelton as well as the 115 properties listed in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH) in the town should be promoted more by the Local Authority as a tourism attraction according to Independent Cllr Ian McGarvey. He told the recent Letterkenny Municipal District meeting that further work may need to be done on the matter
