Charity Concert
The Jordan Family together with their good friend Trevor Loughrey are hosting a Charity Concert in memory of their wife & mum Esther.  The concert will be held in the Milford Inn Hotel on Friday 3rd September at 9pm. Buffet served at 10pm. Trevor will be joined on the night by his friends Gary Gamble, Sharon Nixon from Derry and Cc Cooper from Dublin. Admission €15. The two charities to benefit will be Donegal Hospice and the Oncology Dept of Letterkenny General Hospital.
Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Tidy Towns Competition
The next Tidy Town meetings have been set for Monday 6th September in the Town Hall at 8pm. The seven o'clock Wednesday night community clean-up is still taking place every week. Giving up some of your time, no matter how brief, to come along and lend a hand does make a difference.

Tidy Town's Fundraising Raffle
Tickets for the Tidy Town's Fundraising Raffle can be collected from McFadden's shop on the Square. The draw is due to take place on Friday 17th September with first prize of €300. This is a real drive to ensure that the improvement works can continue and town support is very much appreciated.
Anyone interested in making a financial contribution to assist the fundraising efforts, please contact Patricia Roche or Kevin MacFadden of the Tidy Town's Committee.

Cup and Saucer Community Garden Project
We all know it as the Cup and Saucer. The junction where the Ramelton road, travelling from Letterkenny, can bring us straight on for the Tank or right for Rectory Road. But what is the origin of the place name? Do you have any old photographs of the area? Have you a story to share?
The Ramelton Tidy Town's Committee is launching a community garden project and are seeking your help. A small plot of land on the Cup and Saucer has been donated to the Tidy Towns to create a community garden. It's envisaged that this will be a space where visitors and Ramelton residents alike can take time out to sit and relax.
If you would like to get involved and share your knowledge of the Cup and Saucer, the Tidy Towns Committee would love to hear from you at their next public meeting on Monday 16th August in the Town Hall at 8pm. Alternatively please contact Tidy Towns PRO, Kate Brown by telephoning 086 3590564.

Wednesdays from 7pm are still a regular clean-up evening for those who would like to get active and volunteer their time.
Thanks to all for your wonderful effort.

Members of the community are urged to report sightings of illegal dumping to the County Litter Warden. Contact  Milford Council Offices at 074 9153900.
