The controversy over the location of the Tetra Mast at Ramelton has been resolved. The mast will now be accommodated on an existing site at Glenalla. 

Tetra Ireland Communications Ltd. have been granted permission to construct an attachment of three 2.6m radio aerials (which will extend above the height of the existing telecommunications support structure by means of a 2m tower extension to a total height of 22.1m) and one 0.6m dish to the existing permitted 18m telecommunications support structure for use by the emergency services at Conaghrud/Glentidally Glebe, Glenalla.
