Dunfanaghy
is situated on an inlet of Sheephaven Bay overlooking the beautiful Killyhoey
beach. Dunfanaghy is one of the most scenic holiday destinations on the
Northwest coast. Also located in the town is the Dunfanaghy Workhouse,
an exhibition on the great Famine in Ireland.
To
the North of Dunfanaghy is the cape of a peninsula, Horn Head. It rises
180m ( 600f t) straight out of the Atlantic and offers a wonderful view
of the Northwest from Bloody Foreland to the Rosguill Peninsula. There
is a scenic drive around Horn Head with spectaluar views out to sea, beaches
and as well to the mountains. |

auf die Nordwestküste von Bloody Foreland bis zur Rosguill Halbinsel.
Das Abfahren der Halbinsel bietet spektakuläre Ausblicke über
das Meer, die Strände sowie auf die Berge.
